For one year we’ve been working with Alice McCall to source and license music for her campaign videos. So far we’ve licensed music from No Zu (Aus), Nu Guinea (Italy)and Lazywax (Aus)

MCM HOUSE

For the last six year we’ve curated the in-store music for MCM house. We’ve worked over time to refine the sound to be jazz leaning across a few electronic genres with sounds that are warm, atmospheric and sophisticated to match the furniture and MCM House concept. Harry’s

In addition to booking and promoting the weekends at Harry’s (previously Harpoon Harry) from 2015 - 2020 we also supervised their in-venue playlists from 2014 - 2021. The day time music was a our favourite; a welcoming collection of mainly soul and jazz-funk sounds. Night time was more boogie, disco, hip hop and groovy “bar house”.

CicciaBella

We created the sound for Maurice Terzini’s Osteria + Bar, CicciaBella, from 2019 - until June 2020. Cool Italo, boogie, dub, and mid tempo electronic oddities across all hours of trade. Dream gig for an outstanding visionary and hands down the playlist that sat most core to Picnic + Kali’s life long relationship with music.

Icebergs Dining Room + Bar

A long - nearly ten year - relationship working on events and music with hospitality visionary, Maurice Terzini, culminated in Picnic as the Music Director for Icebergs Group from 2018 - 2020 overseeing the music across five venues until it’s disbandment due to Covid-19. Our work at the iconic Icebergs Dining and Bar was a personal highlight booking the DJs on Sundays and curating delicate, laid back Balearic playlists to compliment the Sunday DJ bookings and bringing soft, beachy sounds into other hours of trade. We also supplied beautiful jazz playlists too.

The Dolphin Hotel

We curated the world renowned Post Punk, New Wave and classic Aus Rock sounds of The Dolphin Hotel from 2015 - 2020. One of our most comprehensive playlists the one master list ran from open to close seven days a week. An absolute bench mark in the marriage of a venue and it’s sound. We’ve compiled an edit of the sounds making for a great at home listen. During this time we also curated and booked all large scale events and DJs as the Music Director for the venue.

Da Orazio Pizza + Porchetta

We holistically managed all the music and DJ bookings for Da Orazio Pizza + Porchetta for five years from 2015 - 2019. Making our own DJ mixes and curating those of others from around the globe. It was the kind of place were everyone felt like going out after dinner, or took a long Sunday lunch. On Friday nights we booked Sydney’s best disco DJs for Pizza + Disco.
