We had a Mardi Gras encore! The parade might have been over but we were still flying the flags of love down at Opera Bar for a very special edition of Picnic Social. Topping the bill was Stereogamous, AKA the inimitable Paul Mac and Australia’s #1 hugger Jonny Seymour, who performed with Western Sydney vocalist/dancer/artist/powerhouse Jamaica. They were joined by one of the city’s brightest emerging stars, Ayabatonye, the kaleidoscopically colourful MC Gaff-E, queer community leader and tastemaker Kelly Lovemonster, and Fijian performance art queen Stelly G.
