All Night Long
We’re almost speechless with excitement as we team up with Sydney Opera House to bring you our favourite DJ on the planet for five uninterrupted hours; amplified from deep in the belly of the most iconic venue in the Australia.
Heralding the summer for a Studio Party like no other, legendary dance eccentric Andrew Weatherall makes his Opera House debut with a DJ set from open to close – guiding clubbers through the hedonistic heights of chugging, hypnotiic and acid house, dub, techno, and everything in-between!
A life-long Londoner who produced Primal Scream’s classic Screamadelica and breakthrough remixes for Underworld, New Order and the Happy Mondays, Weatherall has proved a dancefloor sage in an era of jumbotron mega thud and drop-dead DJs.
We have given him the keys to one of Sydney’s most magnifying venues, a task only a few have been gifted with. This is certainly not one to sleep on!

The cat is out of the bag. We are thrilled to announce that A Love from Outer Space will be joining Peggy Gou at the Oxford Art Factory! To top it all off, the legendary duo will be throwing it down all night long in the gallery!
A residency at Stoke Newington’s The Waiting Room in 2010 was just the beginning for A Love from Outer Space. A shared loved of many things mid tempo, their sound draws influence from driving disco baselines, ambient kosmische soundscapes, experimental house and everything in-between. From this journey of sound, grew the beginnings of A Love From Outer Space (ALFOS) club night, which has found its new home at The Art School.
What started as a shared love of music and experimental curiosities has mutated into a worldwide phenomenon and gone on to influence a whole new wave of producers and DJs. Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston have taken their ‘oasis of slowness’ outside the club on multiple tours across the UK, numerous festival slots such as Electric Elephant and more recently saw them closing out Andrew Weatherall’s own festival ‘Convenanza’.
A Love From Outer Space isn’t an exercise in rose-tinted retrospection or self-applauding egotism. This is a clear stretching of selection which journeys further, towards the peripheries, giving new life to old, leftfield eccentricities and airing the young and recent in proximity, with finely judged style.
We couldn’t dream of a line-up better than Peggy Gou, ALFOS and our very own Kali. Tickets are selling fast, so we recommend jumping on it now! You can get your tickets here..
We’re buzzing with excitement to announce the Australian debut of Peggy Gou at OXFORD ART FACTORY Fri November 17th.
Peggy’s been on our radar since her mixes starting appearing on Soundcloud and we’ve loved watching her blow up. In 2016 alone she released four records on Technicolour, Rekids (Official) and Phonica Records White and has since received high praise from The Guardian,Mixmag, Stamp The Wax and XLR8R. She’s been remixed by Terekke and Galcher Lustwerk and can name Highlife artist Esa and Italian duo Nu Guinea as her mentors. And THAT’S why she’s the most talked about newcomer of the past year.
Her DJ sets have been described as an “assured, kinetic combination of dark, pulsing house and techno, broken beat and abstract composition” so we’ll definitely be posting a bunch of our favourite Peggy mixes as we count down the days to her debut.
Picnic Touring & Events boss Kali on support duties as well as a VERY EXCITING & soon to be announced SPECIAL GUEST!

Over the Civic Underground’s legendary sound system, we give you the sounds of PROSUMER on Nov 4th!
Long time and much adored Resident at Panaroma bar, some say the club is just as much indebted to him for the sound he created, as he is to it for bringing him to the attention of dancers. Since parting ways with Panaroma Bar and his job at Hard Wax, he’s gone on to conquer dance floors all over the world with the fruits of deep digging vinyl excursions which blend the sounds of classic Chicago, New York and Detroit house. The result is an ever-growing and ultra loyal fan club despite having no new releases in almost a decade.
Adored for his legendary sound and adored for his warmth, karaoke and trivia skills, he’s a producer of music and a consumer of vinyl. He’s a prosumer. He is Prosumer.
