Picnic boss Kali has curated the entire program for Vivid Sydney at Harpoon Harry including this Picnic takeover featuring two of our favourite DJs from across the border…
All the way from Melbourne, Pjenné and Millú!
Pjenné is a versatile purveyor of vibe matched only by those who have been buying and playing records for years. With a record collection that boasts an exquisite taste for blue eyed soul, modal, spiritual jazz and the uplifting yet hedonistic roots of disco and house, you have a fine selector.
She’ll be playing alongside fellow DJ Millú whose deep cache of obscure jams, esoteric rhythms and club cuts forego conventional genre standards. Just as likely to be soundtracking your yum cha as they are to be moving a dance floor, these accomplished Melbourne DJs make their debut Sydney appearance for VIVID 2017.

Queerbourhood, Picnic Touring & Events, The House of Mince, Strange Signals + [ insert ] very proudly present a free show for
Musician, public speaker, and owner of the Comatonse Recordings record label. Her work critically combines themes of identity politics – including gender, sexuality, class, linguistics, ethnicity and race. Whether she is playing or producing deep house as DJ Sprinkles or presenting one of her live performances, Terre is perpetually arresting and you’re always sitting right inside her mind.
For our performance on Wednesday she’ll present Lovebomb. This event will reach capacity, we recommend you come down as early as possible, The Bearded Tit opens at 6pm. DJ support from Stereogamous and shows from Koco Carey & Sarah Moaney!

DJ, producer and label boss, Jayda produced her first release in 2015 under everyone’s favourite local label Butter Sessions. In 2016 she released her first solo EP and having gone from strength to strength, she’s now heading up her own label, Freakout Cult, with the help of DJ Fett Burger. Her rare ability to maintain the heavy groove while swimming between genres makes her a favourite amongst dancers and a goddess amongst DJs. We’re also still swooning over every track she’s released to date and we’re dying to hear them blasted through the sound system at the Civic.
We can’t think of any better supports than:
